Honey Daisies to Pink Ladies....
Tom Green County, TX is a vibrant display of gorgeous wildflowers during the spring and summer months. Many roadways near San Angelo Texas are simply breathtaking, exploding with huge bouquets of Engelmann's Daisies. On your way to Robert Lee (from Water Valley), you will see a sea of blue, bluebonnets in rare form. Pretty yellow primrose, lines highway 87, between Water Valley and Carlsbad, TX. Many of these Texas natives are found in the fields near Miss Lissia's, located on the Edwards Plateau. If you take a walk near sunset, you will be pleasantly surprised by the wildflowers flanking the road near the creek. From honey daisies to pink ladies, the landscape is alive with color this time of year. This page is dedicated to wonderful birds and blooms that make our area so spectacular.
